Religion

The religion is one; all prophets teach the same; but they can only present the principle in a form; so they take it out of the old form and put it before us in a new one.

  1. The basic principles of all the religions remain the same. Its like everyone wants to go to a particular destination. Just that there are too many temptations on the path and sometimes you need a guide to show you the right the appropriate direction based on where you are in your life.
Then there is this choice of path too, some like the High way, some like the hiking path with lots of greenery and nature, some like to take multiple modes of transportation. In the end it seems to lead to one destination of good behavior, respect for other living creatures, trying our best at restraining ourselves and causing minimum damage as possible to everyone and everything around us.

If you look around in India, you have self proclaimed prophets all around in little villages and towns, most of them may be fakes and some maybe really very sincere.

cheers to our own self discovery. :)

  2. Well I guess thisone is rather about discussing various religions.

So in that sense I can see the different religions as paths with own guides at the foothill of Himalaya. Each path and guide is different, but all welcome you to join the trek to reach the highest peak. So you can choose whichone is the closest to your heart and mind...
