I got this book recently and I was a bit afraid to read it. Now, I can tell you this is one of the most important books to read for everyone!
The story is written by a psychologist who survived concentration camps during 2nd WW. He was a psychologist for himself and his friends - convicted. He describes each phase of a victim of Nazi regime.
The most important thought in this book as I can see is this deep wisdom:
In the world across all societies, all cultures, all ages and backgrounds, there exist only two types of people - nice people and rude people. The first group is a minority. That´s the basic truth and it will never change. The danger comes when the rude people reach the highest posts in the country or nation and become leaders. No nation is immune towards this situation and that´s why in any nation there lies the potential for holocaust.

I only translated the author´s thought. Each of us can see the world in a different way.
